The Chino: a timeless classic that is being renewed
We don't need any introduction. Chinos are a classic of workwear culture: a loose, comfortable fit in cotton twill. At LePantalon, we decided to revisit them to make them a modern, contemporary, and feminine piece. To achieve this, we chose a carrot cut, a high waist, topped with a wide belt to slim the silhouette, a floral braid for beautiful cuffs, and a slightly longer leg length.

A WEEKEND IN BIARRITZ: NAVY BLUE CHINOS
A few days with the family to unwind. Take a break and explore the coast, whether as a tourist or as an expert. That's what comes to mind when we think of this weekend in Biarritz. A break during which we don't want to worry about what to wear. Comfortable attire for both day and night.
Luckily, our navy blue chinos fit this description perfectly. They come with a white tank top and a slightly oversized green plaid shirt, which can double as a jacket. Red Converse sneakers on your feet, the ideal shoes for walking around the city, and even the beach, for long hours.
A casual daytime look with touches of color that we wouldn't have expected but which, on the contrary, work wonderfully.
When it's time for an end-of-day aperitif, a glass of white wine, crunchy vegetables and the beginning of the sunset, we thought of a little cloudy twist for your feet: fully lined Birkenstock socks and sandals, a real cozy nest.
A DRINK ON THE TERRACE IN PARIS: CHINO ECRU
A drink on a terrace after an afternoon with friends. Yes, we've been dreaming of their reopening: a breeze on the back of our necks, our hair tied back, and long weekend debriefs. For that, we've concocted a rather casual and relaxed look that blends perfectly into an urban setting.
Our bright ecru chinos for the bottom, an oversized light pink striped shirt on top and sneakers with more vibrant pink accents for a subtle color accent.
A HIKE IN THE CALANQUES: THE CHINO BLUSH
We're switching gears and heading to the Calanques for a short hike amidst the rocks. The weather is still cool, not too hot, and the path is shaded. The sea air rushes into your nostrils, and your ears are overwhelmed by the sound of cicadas.
For this painting, we thought of a practical outfit: our blush chinos, a fairly loose white t-shirt and hiking sneakers.
A FIRST DATE: KHAKI CHINOS
A first date is always a lot of apprehension, maybe even stress. We furtively let our eyes wander everywhere. A first date is also the time to show off your personality without overdoing it. And it's sometimes difficult to juggle the two. For our part, we opted for a simple, comfortable, and feminine look.
