After many months of work, we have managed to once again improve the quality of our Chinos by modifying our manufacturing process.
What manufacturing process?
Until now, our chinos were made from unbleached fabric, meaning they were uncolored. Once made, the chinos were then dipped into high-temperature dye baths to give them their final color. This type of manufacturing is called "Ready to Dye."
The disadvantage of the old process
The problem with this process lies in the reaction of the chinos to the dye baths. It can happen, although very rarely, that the fabric does not react exactly the same way from one bath to the next.
A size 38 in Pastel Blue can then be 0.3cm tighter than a size 38 in Rust Orange. Which is obviously a problem for you since you buy our chinos directly online.
The solution
So we worked with our workshop to find a solution to these small sizing discrepancies while maintaining the same product quality. The decision was made: we are changing the dyeing process for Chinos!
From now on, the fabric dyeing is carried out in Italy before our Chinos are made.
The advantages of the new process
Chinos are therefore made from a material already dyed in the final color.
- So a size 38 Chino will have the same measurements regardless of the color and regardless of the production date!
- This new process brings a second advantage, and not the least: the strength of the seams. Indeed, the seams no longer undergo high-temperature baths and therefore benefit from greater resistance.
- Finally, when new, the Chino has a very "clean" appearance because it has not yet been washed. However, its "casual" appearance will appear with time and washing, which will make it a unique piece!
All these changes bring our products even better quality, with unchanged comfort and style!
