Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any doubts or questions, it's right here: contact us .

1. Adjust the length of your jeans

If your jeans are too long, you have two options. You can wear them cuffed for a more casual look and show off your beautiful floral trim, or you can shorten the length so they fit perfectly.

If you choose to have your jeans lengthened, you'll need to go to an alterations specialist (or ask your magic mom), and that's where our first tip comes in: wash them once before having them altered.

Indeed, it is possible that after the first wash it will lose a few millimeters in length. The material tends to shrink slightly. This way, you will be sure to take your jeans back to the right length!

2. Washing

A crucial step in the life of any garment: washing.

If you want to keep, wear, and live with your jeans for as long as possible, you need to take care of them. Here's our washing checklist:

  • Cold or at 30°C maximum
  • On the inside of the pants
  • With a detergent without bleaching agents
  • Spin at 600 rpm max

Please note: your home's water may contain a lot of limescale, which can cause white marks after washing (especially on dark colors). You can easily install a limescale filter at the entrance to your home; it's good for your clothes, your linens, and your skin!

3. Drying and ironing

When it comes to drying your jeans, nothing could be simpler: air dry them, inside out (avoid direct sunlight).

Do not use a tumble dryer, in fact you can even sell it because it is not good for any clothing!

You can iron your jeans if you wish, remember to do it on the reverse side of the pants.

4. What about Selvedge?

Washing your Selvedge jeans is even simpler: by hand in a basin of water with a knob of detergent.

5. The little extra

If you want to wear your jeans for a long time, the best solution is to wash them as little as possible. As Levi's Strauss CEO Chip Bergh himself points out in his "Dirty Jeans Manifesto," washing your jeans infrequently saves water, is good for the planet, and allows you to keep them for a very long time.

You now have all the information you need to take great care of your jeans . If we haven't answered all your questions, don't hesitate to ask us on social media or in store !
